Chief Operating Officer

The Organization
In a sentence: The Marcy Lab School is a college alternative that provides historically underestimated young adults with a rigorous, supportive technical education program designed to create pathways to economic mobility through high-paying software engineering careers.
The current landscape: The Marcy Lab School has aspirations to increase its number of fellows by 50% in two years and double in size in three years. To meet these goals, the organization seeks its first Chief Operating Officer to help evolve from a founder-led startup to a scalable institution. WHAT STAKEHOLDERS SAY
“We've been able to translate the skills and potential of young adults to the professional sector in a way that's atypical for most workforce development organizations… What we've been able to do through a lot of sweat equity is to get companies to give our fellows a shot for opportunities that otherwise those companies would not provide them a second look.”
